Google enabled voice navigation on Google Maps for Android yesterday. An official announcement was made today. There is more good news. They have also turned on traffic data for six major cities in the country: Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad.

In addition to voice navigation, Google Maps for Android also has traffic data in India now!

Google would use this traffic data while suggesting a route to your destination. Google said:
