Adobe Photoshop CS6 would be last to support Windows XP

Adobe has finally decided to stop supporting Windows XP with one of their most popular product Photoshop.

Adobe said in a blog post that Photoshop CS6 would be the last version to support Windows XP.

Incidentally, it does not support Windows Vista even though it came after Windows XP!

The company added:

In addition, all subsequent Photoshop feature updates specifically for Creative Cloud members will no longer support Windows XP. Leveraging advances available on newer operating systems and hardware allows us to deliver significantly better performance, and focus our innovation efforts around the areas of the greatest benefit to our customers.

We doubt this move affect many people. Adobe Photoshop is mostly used by professionals who are more likely to be on recent editions of operating systems.
