Airtel has messed up Edge subscription package alerts

If you are using an EDGE package on your airtel mobile connection, you might notice that the company is no longer offering updates related to data consumption.

Instead of sending alerts about how much data you consumed in the last session, you are shown a call charge.

Thankfully, the charge is just a dummy value and the amount is not cut from your prepaid balance.

This seems to be a new update and is creating a nuisance for the users. You cannot get an idea on how much data you have consumed from your allocated quota.
