Amazon AppStore now allowing in-app purchases of over USD 20

Amazon has informed the developers making their apps available through their mobile app store that they can now offer in-app purchases of over USD 20.

This has been made possible because of the integration of parental control that prevents accidental purchases on the devices.

Amazon said:

With our parental controls functionality now updated, in-app items over $20 may now be submitted via the developer portal.

This should help a lot of developers who sell premium content within their apps. Amazon is likely to attract more developers with this updated policy.
