Amazon has said in a statement that their recently launched Kindle Fire HD Tablet PC has already become a bestselling product on their online store.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD was launched recently as the second generation model to compete against the growing competition in the market from Google Nexus 7 and Nook Tablet.

Apple is also expected to launch their iPad Air Tablet later today that would compete in this segment but at a slightly higher price.

Amazon said that Kindle Fire HD has outsold all other products available on their online store. The company does not reveal sales figures of the Kindle branded devices.
