Online sources report that Amazon is collaborating with Nokia to bring their mapping technology to their Kindle Fire platform.
If the reports are true, the second generation Kindle Fire should include support for GPS and a mapping app powered by Nokia technology.
Amazon is holding a media event next week where they are expected to launch this new model.
Nokia does not offering their Maps technology on Android devices. It would be interesting to see what kind of product we see as part of this rumored partnership.
