Rovio has announced that their Angry Birds franchise has seen more than 1 billion downloads.

The company said:

Angry Birds has been one of the most amazing successes of this generation. The game is available on almost all platforms (except for feature phones I guess). The latest edition Angry Birds Space has also been a hit.
