Aol launches Aol On video network

Aol has announced the launch of their brand new platform named Aol Online Network.

Aol On is basically a centralized video platform which would showcase content from all their different networks.

It has launched with around 14 content channels. All of these are available online through a browser and mobile devices.

Aol said that the platform already is home to around 320,000 videos from their own services and partners. They are also going to launch seven new original series in the coming times.

This is a solid initiative by the company to boost their presence in the growing online video market and generate more revenues.
