Apple 17” MacBook Pro might be discontinued this year

Online reports claim that Apple is very much likely to discontinue the 17” edition of the MacBook Pro.

The company is apparently seeing weak sales of this model and the next update of the MacBook Pro lineup might not feature a new variant at all.

Dropping the 17” edition would further streamline the Apple’s offerings in the laptop market. Apple has discontinued several models in the past to focus on the most popular editions.

The next generation MacBook Pro series is likely to feature a slimmer design making them similar to MacBook Air.
