Apple launched the new iPhone 5 today along with an updated range of iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle.

The company also announced a brand new version of iTunes app that would be launched in the coming weeks.

They did not talk about Ping and we now know why. The company is shutting down their Ping social network later this month.
