Apple iAd program would soon be open to more advertisers

Apple is apparently realizing that they are not going to do well with their iAd program until they let in smaller advertisers to the program.

Industry sources are reporting that the company is all set to expand the program opening the iAd platform to more advertisers.

Sources say that companies can now buy ads on the iAd platform for as low as $400,000 already. This is down from a minimum advertising budget of $1 million that Apple originally asked for.

Google on the other hands seems to be doing well with their mobile advertising platform which runs on multiple platforms. Sources say that the company made around USD 2.5 billion in revenues from mobile ads in a year.
