Apple has confirmed that Facebook is getting a similar status to Twitter with iOS 6.

Facebook would come preloaded on iOS 6. It would be available from almost everywhere in the iOS 6 software.

Users would be able to post status updates using voice through Siri. They would be able to like apps and content on the Apple iTunes store.

This is excellent news for Facebook as they get priority support from Apple. Facebook has been rumored to be working on their own smartphone for a while now. With this partnership with Apple, they can stop worrying about Android and Google Plus for the time being.
