Apple iOS 6 to feature a ‘Wi-Fi Plus Cellular’ mode for internet connectivity

Apple is offering a brand new option named Wi-Fi Plus Cellular in their iOS 6 test builds.

This option is handy for times when you connect to a wireless internet network that is chocked or is not working very well.

The iOS device would then switch back to cellular internet connectivity to ensure that you retain internet access.

Users also get the ability to set which of their apps have access to cellular connectivity. This way you can block heavy apps from eating into your cellular bandwidth.
