Apple has some good news for the owners of iPhone 3GS. They would be able to update to iOS 6 when it is released later this year.
The bad news is for the owners of the first generation iPad and the third generation iPod Touch. They are no longer being supported with iOS updates. These devices would remain on iOS 5.
It is incredible that Apple is still able to offer updates for the iPhone 3GS considering it is a three generation old model today!
