Things are just getting more annoying with Apple in the Indian market.
The company priced their iPhone 4S models in the range of Rs. 45-55000 in India.
And they are now selling the 8GB edition of the iPhone 4 for Rs. 38000.
This pricing is actually worse than the original pricing of the iPhone 4 in the Indian market! Essentially, they are charging more for a model with lower specification now that it is outdated in India.
The reason behind this price hike could be related to the weakening dollar. But it is still absurd that customers are expected to pay more for the 8GB model than what they would have paid for the 16GB model just a couple of days ago!
Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB is now priced at Rs. 21000. This is down by around Rs. 1000.
