Apple has great news for their fans in the Indian market. Apple iTunes store has finally arrived in India!
The company is selling and renting media content for users based in India.

Even the Apple iTunes Match service is available for users in India at Rs. 1200 per year.
Prices are around:
Rs. 12 per song
Rs. 120 to rent Hollywood movie
Rs. 80 to rent Indian movie
Of course these would vary for different types of content.
With this Apple has become the most powerful challenger to few services we already have in India. Flipkart has a digital media store. We have some video rental services like BigFlix. Hopefully things get competitive and end user gets benefited from the competition.
