Apple is surprisingly not launching their own dock for the iPhone 5

Apple did not launch any dock for the iPhone 5 and apparently they have no plans to do so.

Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior VP of Marketing said in a mail response to a user that most consumers prefer to use third party docking stations with speakers or clocks in them so they saw no need to make one themselves.

Apple iPhone 5 would not work with existing docks because of the brand new connector named Lightening they have implemented on this updated edition.
