Apple and Waze did not comment on the rumors in the market about talks between the companies for a possible acquisition deal.

The latest is that the deal is unlikely to happen. Waze is asking for too much money which Apple is not interested to pay.

In fact, reports say that Waze is not looking for a buyer as they are in for the long run.

The company serve millions of users with their mobile apps offering free GPS navigation facilities on multiple platforms.

Waze is incidentally already an Apple partner for their Apple Maps platform.
