Asus has made it official. Asus Transformer Prime is launching in the US market on December 12.
It would go on sale online on this day. Retail launch is scheduled for December 19.
There are a couple of online stores in USA which are already accepting pre-orders for this Android based Tablet PC.
It is available in two variants. USD 500 for the 32GB version and USD 600 for the 64GB version. Users can get a keyboard dock for an addition USD 150.
Asus Transformer Prime is going to become the first quad core Tablet PC to go on sale in the market. It is powered with a Tegra 3 processor. It features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display. It would ship with Android 3.2 though it should get Ice Cream Sandwich update in the coming months.
