AT&T’s president of emerging devices Glenn Lurie confirmed that they are in talks with Nokia to bring their Windows Phone devices to the US market.

Nokia of course is very much interested in the US market where they have always struggled.

They now have the marketing support of Microsoft and a solid platform in Windows Phone for their smartphones.

We have also heard reports that the company aims to launch Windows 8 based Tablet PCs next year which should also make things interesting for them in the US market.

Nokia has already started selling their Windows Phone Mango based devices in the European markets. Asian countries are next in the list.
