Attachments.me has released browser extensions for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to add support for Microsoft SkyDrive in Google’s Gmail platform.

You can now upload files to your SkyDrive account for sending through email right from inside Gmail.

You also get the ability to save attachments in emails directly to your SkyDrive account from inside Gmail.

Incidentally, these options are not native in Gmail with respect to Google Drive!

There is also an option to automatically copy attachments from select people to your SkyDrive account so that they are downloaded to your machine without any action on your part.
