Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet offers just 1GB for personal storage!

Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet has just gone on sale and we already have one major problem that the company conveniently forgot to reveal during the launch event.

The device comes with 16GB of internal storage but just 1GB is available to the user for personal storage.

The rest of the space is restricted for content downloaded from the Barnes & Noble supported services.

Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet offers just 1GB for personal storage!

Barnes & Noble has confirmed that this is accurate. They indicate that a range of new media services are set to launch which would use the space reserved for their content in the future.

The company is however playing a losing game. Third party mods would probably remove this limitation and it only adds to the bad PR for the company.

Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet competes against the Amazon Kindle Fire in this segment of the Tablet PC market. Kindle Fire is cheaper but has less powered specifications. Amazon however has tons more content and media services which makes their device much more useful out of the box.
