Barnes & Noble settle Android licensing issues with Microsoft
Microsoft and Barnes & Noble have just announced collaboration over eBooks and eBook readers.
The interesting part of the deal is that they have settled their Android related litigations as well.
This means that Barnes & Noble has become the latest Android based device manufacturer to settle patent related differences with Microsoft.
Exact details have not been released but Barnes & Noble is likely to pay royalty to Microsoft for their Android based Nook devices.
Motorola is one of the very few players left which has still not signed up a similar deal with Microsoft. All the other major manufacturers have settled with Microsoft.
