BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 might have a software bug
Research in Motion has confirmed that some owners of BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 are facing a problem that results in phone not booting.
They are working on a software fix for this problem. It is not clear if the owners would be able to install the patch themselves.
Both of these models were launched recently and are important for the company as they transition to a brand new mobile platform named BBX next year.
RIM is struggling to compete against the likes of Apple iOS and Google Android in the global smartphone market. BBX would be their best challenge to these dominating platforms.
