A leaked ROM is now available on the web for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone which adds a couple of new features to the device.
Two of the features are notable. Blackberry OS 7.0.1.74 seems to add mobile hotspot functionality in addition to Wi-Fi calling.
T-Mobile users are likely to gain from the second feature which enables users to make calls using internet connectivity if they are outside mobile coverage areas.
Research in Motion of course has not revealed anything about this update. But the leaked ROM is pretty stable so an official update is likely to arrive in the near future.
