BMW Mini finally launched in India!

German automaker BMW has finally launched their Mini brand in the Indian market.

As many as four different models are going to be available in India.

The price range of these models is from Rs. 25-32 lakhs. Of course, at these prices, BMW is unlikely to find many buyers but it is good to see Mini on sale in India.

Volkswagen Beetle and Fiat 500 are already on sale in India for a while now.

BMW India spoke about the Mini: “Yes, it’s a bit delayed but not too late for the Mini to be launched in India. More Indians are travelling and living abroad, they have network overseas and are more aware of trends. For the initial years, we will keep the numbers that way and will focus on brand building in India.”

The four models are:

Mini Cooper: Rs. 25 lakhs

Mini Cooper S: Rs. 28 lakhs

Mini Convertible: Rs. 30 lakhs

Mini Cooper S Countryman: Rs. 32 lakhs
