BMW recalling Mini globally
BMW has announced a recall of their Mini model. The company said that the recall involves around 235,500 units.
The company said that the problem lies in the electronic circuit boards which could overheat and could result in a fire hazard.
BMW added that they have not received any complaints about any incident happening and this recall is precautionary in nature.
The variants affected are: Mini Cooper, Cooper S, Clubman, Cooper JCW, Clubman, Countryman and Convertible models.
BMW would contact the owners of the affected units and fix the problem for free.
BMW just recently launched the Mini model in the Indian market and they have already received bookings for more than 100 units.
