Box and Sony have announced that they are extending their deal throughout 2013.

Sony Xperia device owners can sign up for the service and get 50GB of storage space on the Box platform for another year.

The deal is similar to what other manufacturers have with Dropbox. Users can sync data from their phones to Box.

There are some catches though. This offer requires a device running Android 2.1 or better. Some models are not supported like Xperia X10 mini, the X10 mini pro.
