Box might be one of the most popular cloud storage services online today but they have been largely operating completely inside the US borders.

They have now collaborated with Equinix to expand their data storage centers to major cities around the world.

They are going to storage data in centers based in six data centers operated by Equinix now. Amsterdam, Sydney and Tokyo are on the list.

Localized storage servers are useful for customers as they get faster response time for the files stored on the cloud.
