BSNL has revealed that they are now planning to appoint a consultant to come up with a business roadmap for their telecom tower business.

The company expect to split this division into a new company.

BSNL said:

We are exploring opportunity to bring our tower business under separate company for optimum utilization. In this regard, BSNL will issue expression of interest this week to appoint consultant that will suggest us the roadmap.

The company currently operates around 70,000 towers around the country.

BSNL further said that they are aiming to take the top spot in the mobile services market. (lol)
