Volkswagen Polo now being manufactured in India
Volkswagen has started manufacturing their Polo car in the Indian market.
This would be the first small car from the company that would go on sale sometime next year in India.
The company aims to boost their presence in the market by capturing a 10% market share in the next couple of years.
VW Polo is being manufactured at the company’s new plant in Pune. This new plant has a capacity of producing 110,000 cars a year.
It would also be used to manufacture some other models from the company’s subsidiaries including Skoda Fabia and a sedan model.
