NDTV Imagine sold to Time Warner for USD 126.5 million
Time Warner has announced that they are acquiring a 92 stake in the Indian television channel NDTV Imagine.
This deal is worth around USD 126.5 million.
The channel is currently owned by Indian media company NDTV networks.
NDTV Imagine is a popular Hindi language channel in the Indian market.
Time Warner stated that company CEO Sameer Nair would continue to work in the same capacity.
This deal comes just weeks after NDTV sold majority of their stake in NDTV Lifestyle to Scripps Networks. NDTV Lifestyle runs the popular English language channel NDTV Good Times in India.
