Google sued by buySAFE for their Trusted Stores service
Google faces yet another lawsuit. This time by a company named buySAFE.
buySAFE claims that Google was in talks with them for a long time for a collaboration. But went ahead and launch a competing service on their own named Trusted Stores.
The company claims that their patented technology allows their customers to offer safe online shopping experience to web users.
And Google is infringing on this patent with their own similar technology.
The lawsuit also talks about a former buySAFE employee named Tom Fallows who is now working for Google and is the Group Product Manager for Trusted Stores platform.
