China Telecom all set to sell Apple iPhone in Chinese market
China Telecom has signed an agreement with Apple to launch the iPhone on their network in China.
With this, Apple iPhone would be available through two carriers in this market. China Unicom is already selling this device.
China Mobile is the largest mobile service provider in China and they are the only player here to not have the iPhone on their network.
China Mobile is reportedly in talks with Apple to develop a model of the iPhone that is compatible with their high speed mobile network in China. We might see some progress here sometime next year.
