Tweet Lanes is currently the default Twitter client on my Android phone. I love how Chris Lacy is able to add new features and release new builds on such a phenomenal pace. Lacy is also very much accessible on Twitter and Google Plus for feedback and feature suggestions.

Here is some great news from him if you have backed the App.net platform…

Lacy has revealed that he is porting the Tweet Lanes app to work with App.net platform. And a release could be available from the Google Play Store by this weekend.

He posted a detailed log of his experience using the App.net API for this port.

App.net recently met the funding goal and is expected to see major updates in the near future. Right now, the service does not even have an official icon!
