DC Comics launches comics through Apple iBookstore

DC Comics has published their first comic book title through the Apple iBookstore platform.

These comics have been available through third party apps for a while now.

Batman: Earth One is the first title to be offered as an iBook for the users of Apple iOS devices.

Marvel is already selling a bunch of their comic titles through this platform.

Remains to be seen if iBookstore would become popular enough to encourage Marvel and DC to restrict their releases through it alone.
