Dell has confirmed that they are now replacing Blackberry devices with their own Dell Venue Pro model in their management structure.

The company said they used to be 100% Blackberry when it came to devices used by their management.

Around 15000 devices have been replaced and more are likely to follow.

The company aims to cut costs with this move as they themselves manufacture the Venue Pro model. They also have more control over the phone and with their partnership with Microsoft get better support on the software side.

It is not clear how the Dell management people are taking this move. Blackberry is pretty much an addiction for some people. And it could become a headache for folks who are too used to that platform.
