Evernote has updated their mobile app for Android devices. This update brings in a couple of enhancements.
The first feature is restricted to premium users of the service. They now get an easier way to select multiple notebooks for downloading. These notebooks are then made available for offline access.
Evernote has also updated their note editor with an improved toolbar. The company said:
We took out everything that wasn’t actually related to editing and put it into the Action Bars along the top of the note. Use the toolbar to style your text and to organize it with bullets, lists and checkboxes. You can even hide the toolbar by tapping on the arrow.
Evernote on Android Tablets now feature a context aware action bar to make features you need at any given point of time more accessible.
There is also a new widget app available as a separate download. This one allows you extensive customizations to generate a widget that suits your needs.
