Facebook has finally launched a much improved native app for the Google Android devices.

The company claims that the new app is significantly faster and would load timelines and media objects quickly.

Facebook recently launched a similar major update for Apple iOS devices. It is good to see them doing the same for Android users as well.

The app also looks much better now with newsfeed, notifications and timeline built from scratch for speed.
