Facebook has added a file sharing feature for users who are part of their Groups for Schools platform.

This platform is open for educational bodies and require users to have an .edu email address.

The new feature allows them to upload and share files of size up to 25MB.

The idea is to enable students to share documents, spreadsheets and presentations. The company has warned that they would keep an eye on pirated media being shared on this platform.
