Research in Motion has a solid challenger to their Blackberry Messenger platform now with the arrival of Facebook Messenger on the App World.

Facebook has offered their Messenger application through their website for a while now but this is the first time that this app is available through the official app store on the Blackberry platform.

This increases the visibility of the app comprehensively also making it easier for the Blackberry owners to get it on their phones.
