Facebook further mimics Google Plus with their photo viewer
Facebook has rolled out some more enhancements to their photo viewer which makes it look and feel a lot more like Google Plus.
Users can finally view the higher resolution images uploaded by their friends and family. The largest size supported now is 2048×2048 which is similar to free photo size limits on Google Plus.
Users also get the ability to watch photos in a full screen mode. This is again similar to what Google Plus has offered for a long time now.
Facebook spoke about the updates:
Now the photo viewer will automatically display photos in the highest resolution possible. On a large display, this can be up to 4 times bigger than before.
Starting today, you can expand the photo viewer to take up your entire computer screen.
