Facebook is testing a brand new feature with select users with their mobile app for Android devices.
Facebook Photo Sync feature is similar to what Google already offer through Instant Upload functionality in the Google+ mobile app.
Dropbox for Android also has a similar feature.
You can setup the feature to automatically upload all the photos taken by your phone’s camera to your Facebook account.
These photos are stored in a private gallery from where you can share it with friends and family.
The idea is to automatically provide access to mobile photos on the desktop for easy sharing.
Google+ Instant Upload has a major issue as it does not upload the originals. Dropbox sync original images and videos online. Facebook is also unlikely to be storing original photos on their servers though it is hard to say right now.
