Flickr getting a major update later this month. Inspired by Google Plus Photos I would say!
BetaBeat has posted some screenshots along with the revelation that Flickr is set to get a major visual overhaul later this month.
The company is all set to roll out a major UI update on February 28. The report confirmed that the photo view page and the photo upload page are going to get updated.
The new photo view page looks heavily inspired by the Google Plus Photos. The photos are larger in size and they cover pretty much the entire display space inside the browser. Here is a screenshot:
The photo upload page would also get a major overhaul. This looks more useful to people who use Flickr heavily for uploading and sharing their photos.
