Foursquare on Android now support NFC

Foursquare has updated their mobile app with a couple of new features.

They have overhauled the Explore feature which has become one of the coolest aspects of the platform.

They have also improved the speed of scrolling in different areas on the app. the different is indeed noticeable.

The biggest change is that the app now supports Android Beam on Ice Cream Sandwich using NFC.

The company claims that NFC would fasten the process of checking-in on locations offering this service. Though we are not sure how widely popular NFC is!
