General Motors takes the stop spot once again in global auto sales

GM dominated the global auto market last year. They sold around 9 million cars across the world which makes them the top automaker in the world today.

Volkswagen was on the second spot with sales of around 8.2 million cars.

Toyota is yet to reveal their official sales figures but they are very much likely to be on the third spot with sales of 7.9 million vehicles.

Toyota of course suffered from the natural calamities that hit Japan last year. They are likely to bounce back this year and regain the second spot.
