Gmail now offering details on why messages are sent to spam folder!

Google has released a useful update on their Gmail webmail platform.

You can now check out individual messages in your spam folder and see why Gmail decided it was a spam message.

There are three basic categories:

1. Message has malicious content/link.
2. You marked the message from the sender as spam previously.
3. Message was similar to other spam messages detected by Gmail
