Gmail People Widget would now show recently shared photos from the contact!

Google has updated their Gmail People Widget with a cool new functionality.

The widget would now show recently shared photos from the user who is being highlighted there.

These photos are fetched from the past mails from the same contact that were sent to you.

Clicking on a photo would open that specific mail that included it.

Google said:

The next time you look at the people widget, you might see up to 3 photos from recent emails from that person. Not only does this remind you of photos they’ve sent to you, but it also gives you one click access to the emails with those photos.
