Google adds Meta tag editor to their Blogger platform

Google continues to make Blogger platform more powerful with more features.

They have just rolled out a major update that would help people who focus on search engine optimization of their blogs.

This update would enable them to add customized Meta tags to their blogs and individual posts and pages.

Blog settings get new customizable options like:

Meta Tags,
Errors and Redirections,
Crawlers and Indexing

Posts and Pages get customization options like:

Search Description
Custom robots header tags

These fields would let you define Meta tags like:

Blog description
Post description
404 error page message
Alt and title text for images
You can now easily add rel=”nofollow” to individual links easily

Google said:
