Google Analytics goes social with connectivity with social platforms!
Google has delivered a major update to their Analytics platform. The service now connects to multiple third party social platforms to fetch analytics data.
Google has worked with several partners to integrate their own social streams with the Google Analytics platform.
With this, users of Analytics would be able to keep an eye on activities related to their websites on different networks outside their own domain.
Google said:
Any network can integrate their streams - like +1, votes, and comments - into the Google Analytics social reports, which will be fully available next year to the many marketers, publishers, and websites that are using Google Analytics for free.
Google said that they have already integrated support for various services including:
Delicious, Digg, Diigo, Gigya, LiveFyre, ReadItLater, Reddit, TypePad, Vkontakte, and of course, Google+, Blogger and Google Groups.
